Busiest week ever!
Sooooo much work, so little time to update the blog. It was my dad's birthday this weekend so I drove up to GA to take him to dinner. For his birthday I bought him plane tickets to go to Nashville where he is going to meet a bunch of his friends for a music type convention. I am sure he will have a great time!

Work has been keeping me busy. I have work to do tonight so I don't even have much time to get the blog done (as I am doing now lol!). I've had to get chores done and I am feeling a tad under the weather too. My boss already said I can take some time off soon so I just don't know what I will do with extra time.

Oh and I got my new tags for my CBR so at some point I will be able to ride the bike again. OK, fireworks are going off as I write this (It is Mouse territory here remember). I hope you had a fantastic day and hopefully by next week I will have more time. If I am not on call.

Busiest week ever!
Been working my tail off all this week. By my count about 60 hours in total. Not as much as I had to deal with when I was working with that "other" company, but still a lot of hours. In fact, I worked 18 hours alone yesterday (Saturday). It's a really good thing that I love what I do. In fact, I worked a couple hours today as well. On Saturday I worked from 7am to 2am, then a couple hours today and well, a few extra hours during the week. And tomorrow I have to go to the dentist so yuck!

So overall it's been a good week. My sister is settling down nicely in the new house. I know my niece was over there this weekend to celebrate her birthday and said she really liked the house.

Honestly I have been so busy that I think that is about it for the week. I know this is short but with all the work this week and working out during the week, I am plain BEAT! Need to get to Church for sure. Hopefully when I get a break from work I can sit down and start evaluating churches. I know God has been extremely good to me so at some point, He will tug at my heart and show me the way.

I hope you all have a great week and talk to you next week!

Nice house! :)
Got to spend some time with the family down in See-boring (hehe) and the house is much nicer than I thought it was. They are excited to have their own house to do what they want with it and not have to pay someone else rent money. They really have their act together and I could not be more proud of them all! Even my nephew was happy about the place and his room. Granted he's farther away from his friends but at least there is no one else living them but the three of them so I am extremely happy for them. There are a few other things we need to take care of (water heater, disposal, painting, etc) but that will come in time. All that I know is my mom is looking down upon us and extremely happy for everyone.

Work has been busy as ever. I have more work to do next weekend as well. I have another upgrade to do on the same cluster that we couldn't get to next week but for now we're good. Once that is done I have some other projects to knock out and keep the boss happy. That's really what I need to work on is STUDY more, work harder, knock out these projects and keep myself on the straight and narrow.

Got a chance to talk one of my friends who recently became a Christian, which I am very happy for him. He mentioned that some of God's words can be confusing to someone new in the Faith but I reiterated what I was told long ago. Be silent and God will speak clearly to you. I'm glad he came to me and asked me questions. I know the Church doctrine sometimes can seem off (and it is at times, I am one who is known for getting in front of a Pastor when I see them twisting or straying away from God's word). But the main thing is it seemed to have cleared his mind a bit and once God really gets you into His circle, everything becomes clear as day.

I had some chores to do this weekend which I knocked out and I still need to get my car washed (which I haven't done yet). I did mow the lawn here, got the grocery shopping and laundry done. I still haven't found a new Church yet but I will. That never stops me from reading His word daily and nightly and I know that I have a strong relationship with Him, even though I know I am far, far from perfect. Hope you all had a great week too and talk to you soon!

March 8th -- Done and DONE! YAY!
Ok NOW I have some even greater news on the home front. We closed on the house on Monday for my sister and brother-in-law. It was a great deal, at the right time and it was high time that my family had a place to call their own. I've had my own home up in VA since Feb 2012 and well, almost to the date 3 years later I was able to help my sister too. They actually stayed in the place this past Friday night for the first time and they love it. It's been a long journey for my family but I am glad I did it and I am sure my mother is looking down upon me and smiling!

I'll be down there next week to help them move a few more things. I know they are glad to be out of that old place for sure. It was too noisy and even though the dogs had a place to roam, it was just not a good place for them.

On the work side, things are going well. I spent all day yesterday working on a project that I can only do on the weekend. It did indeed take all day but all I really had to do was baby-sit the project. There are other changes going on but what I really need to do is hunker down and study, study and study some more. I have a good boss and he watches out for me. That's all I can really ask for.

I've been missing my P90X3 work outs due to being a bit under the weather but I think tomorrow I need to get back on my workout and get it done. I am so out of shape right now it's making me angry lol. At least when I was working from home in San Diego it was a lot easier to work out. I didn't have to worry about driving to and from work, lunch breaks, etc. It's not a bad deal or anything, it's just harder for me to work out. I wonder where people who work full time on site find the time as well.

I also really need to find a new Church here but I am waiting to figure out where I am going to stay. There are a few church here but none that meet on Saturday nights which is when I like to go.

Well that is about it for the week. Hope you had a great week and of course, I will check in with you next week as well.

March 1st -- we "march" on!!!
Now here I am thinking I would be able to report some FANTASTIC news for my family. Well, I can sat with 100 percent certainty that the house my sister picked, we got all the work done for that. The only thing left to do is send the deposit and sign the documents which should happen on Monday or Tuesday. Then my sister and brother in law have her OWN home! I know my mom had hammered into me the value and importance of family. Never did I imagine how much that meant to her until the last 5 years or so (right around the time I hit my head! Maybe that finally knocked some sense into me).

My dad (step) was here on Saturday and Sunday. That was pretty cool as we had a nice dinner, got to watch a movie and just hang out and shoot the breeze. I made sure he got to see the fireworks that I get to see every night here. I actually KNOW what time it is when the fireworks are going off lol. I don't know how much time Pop has left on this planet but I do want us to relish them few moments we get to have together.

Other than that I have been busy working (as normal) and not going to Church like I would prefer. I have always kept up with my daily chapters and devotionals and I will never stop doing that. You have got to keep your mind on God as a priority and, as you have seen in my life, everything falls into place exactly where He intended it to be.

I think we have some MotoGP coming up at the end of the month. Hayden is going to be around the middle of the pack again as normal but hey, he likes what he is doing and he is being paid well. If it were me, I would have gone to WSBK which is a more entertaining and FAIR race compared to MotoGP. At least Valentino will be interesting again this year. Marquez is the next version of the Dr. and he is getting old (we all are).

Hope you had a fantastic and blessed week and weekend. Make sure you keep your mind on God and God on your mind :) haha. I love you all and God bless you!
