Call and a BUSY BUSY week!
So yeah, I am on call until Tuesday afternoon. Lovely,
lol! It's all part of my job so I don't mind. It just keeps
me posted at my home office waiting for something to break
and tickets to deal with. It's only once every six weeks so
I am good with that.
this week I have managed to tick off a few of my friends.
God said that unbelievers would alienate you and yes of course,
I expected as much. But really, SCOTUS this week overruled
the State's ability to keep marriage defined as between a
woman and man. I get that people are worried about rights.
Everyone should be. What I want to know is to what measure
are we using against to place the bar? Do you get my dift
here? If God is not placing the bar, then only mankind can.
And we already know that man is FULL of sin, hate, malace,
don't know about YOU, but I personally would rather have God
set the morality bar than mankind. It's just -- man cannot
be trusted. We have fallen short of the Glory of the Lord
time and time again. The problem now with the direction this
country is headed in -- I have no idea whether this affects
our military or not. I mean, I don't hate gay people -- in
fact, I have some friends that are gay. "Love the sinner,
hate the sin" (and trust me I am far, far, far from perfect).
You are NOT a bigot or discriminating if you are following
God's rules. Heck, we as a country allow same sex weddings
in 34 states.
more did they want?!
mean -- ok the SCOTUS gave them the "certification"
they were looking for. Do they think being gay and married
will end up better than traditional marriage? I have bad news
for them. Now they are BOUND to pay alimony. Maybe homosexuals
have no idea what alimony is but seriously, giving 1/2 your
salary to someone who cheated on you -- not cool. I think
if you cheat, you should never receive alimony because it's
YOU who broke God's covenant. But I digress...
gay couples cannot conceive children, this we know. What affect
does this have on kids? Canada has a pretty good research
study that shows it's bad for kids. And Canada has been leading
the way for gay rights for years. I would think they have
a better idea of what this has done socially than the US.
I had a gay teacher when I was in school. I didn't hate him
at all. He was a really good guy. Does that mean I have to
sacrifice the millennia of years we have defined traditional
marriage to appeal to the minority?
Apparently -- we do NOW. God said there would be fire and
brimstone for those who reject His love, His compassion and
his RULES for how He wanted us to live. The homosexual community
may be willing to take that risk -- but I will NOT!
if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you
will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served
beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites
in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we
will serve the LORD."
Have a great week! (Go Vale!)

Yes! I have been extremely busy. Since there's no
hockey to keep me distracted, work of course takes over. Well,
it always does, lol! The owner of this place had a real-estate
agent with a visitor last week and they have two more coming
over this week. Needless to say I have to keep my place clean
and visitor worthy. That said, I asked them not to touch my
stuff, but they do anyway.
the meantime I started looking at places. Not necessarily
to buy but just to get out of the house and take an inventory
of this area. So far I have found that Winder-weird has nothing
but "canned" pre-made homes with 5 feet between
your neighbors walls. NO! JUST NO! I have never lived in a
true home! That means more than 5 feet away from your neighbors.
The house I helped my sister with has no one within 30 feet
of her house so they get plenty of uninterrupted sleep.
the houses are all packed close together. Can you imagine
having to listen to your neighbors fight or hear their darn
YIPPY dog all night long? NO! JUST NO! I don't care if I have
to drive for an hour to get to work (not a good use of my
time), it's worth it to be able to get a good night's sleep.
else is OK. Work is busy as ever and I don't like the Churches
around here. So much about $$$ being put into their place
of worship. I don't think God cares if you pray in a closet
(in fact, He says go to your place of quiet and worship, so
a closet would count as a private place of quiet, no?). God
isn't judging us on how nice our places or worship are but
how NICE our heart is towards HIM. That should be the only
thing we should have our minds on when the Lord wants to know
"wassup" with us! Keep your mind on Him and His
works and you'll be fine. Not even a Church will matter at
that point. It's where your MIND is!
golf this week.
Watched some WSBK races.
Watched a movie late LATE last night (couldn't sleep)
Got all my chores done.
Gonna chillax and watch the Masters!
Have a great weekend and may the Grace of the Lord keep you

Of course it's been another hectic week (it always
seems to be that way). I always have my plate full at work
all day, every day -- sometimes it seems more than anyone
can handle but I always figure out a way to get it done. My
boss is back on Monday from his overseas trip and I am losing
my desk and being kicked out to the "corrals". Ugh.
I have to wear headphones at work all the time due to the
noise (chatter) and the only way I can focus is with music
blocking everything out.
was a good weekend though on a couple of fronts. I started
looking for houses. Not in a position to buy but I really
wanted to see what was out there. Spent all day Saturday driving
around and looking at a few. I can tell you the "pre-fab"
communities where they are shoving all the houses with around
5 feet of space between the walls is a DEAL BREAKER for me.
I have lived my entire live sharing walls with others. The
noisy neighbors, noises through walls, loud pets, late night
parties, etc. All I want to do is sleep peacefully ya know?
I don't think that is too much to ask.
I drove up to St. Mary's to spend an early Father's Day with
Pops! We actually went to this golf course that he likes to
eat at. We got to hang out and spend a lot of time catching
up. My nieces and nephews and step brother was there as well.
Got a lot of nice pictures and had no family drama which is
really good and something I appreciate a lot! Needless to
say though it was a long drive (400 miles total) so I am really
tired and going to hit the sack early. That is, of course,
after I get some of my chores knocked out.
you had a blessed week and keep the faith. Whatever course
God has you on, stay on it unless He tells you otherwise.
And He WILL tell you -- when you are quiet and listen. God
will never listen to you when you're doing all the talking

One of those weeks again. It seems no matter how
hard I try to stay on God's plans, it is always foiled by
our own natural inclination. Not going to go into detail as
that isn't necessary or fair, but I was to be honest in saying
everything I do is done by waiting on God to tell me what/where/when.
I think that is the best position in life to be is right with
God first, then everything else will fall into place exactly
the way He designed it to be. Agree or Disagree?
also want to talk about the Duggers and that reality show.
One thing I want to say is that the problem with non-believer's
view of Christians is that we either *think* we're perfect
or that we're *supposed* to be perfect. If they have no read
the scripture then they simply do not understand that as human
beings, formed in God's image, with the autonomy to believe
in Him or reject Him is that WE ARE NOT PERFECT. There was
only One who was ever perfect and that Jesus. We all make
mistakes. If God forgives us then why don't men?
is a huge deal. To be a Christian, to even call yourself a
Christian means that forgiveness is part of you. If the Duggers
admit they are Christian and not perfect then what is the
problem with mankind in general? You simply do not understand
God's perspective. He knows that we're not perfect and yet
still forgives us. Why then do people immediately judge people
and condemn them? Jesus said to those ready to stone a woman
for adultery "Let ye without sin cast the first stone!"
Well I think the problem with non-believers is they feel they
are sin-free (they are not!) but are quick to judge Christians
for having the nature of sin. Bad news for non-believers.
YOU TOO are sinful, just like the rest of mankind.
off my high horse there. Work is OK and busy. Boss still out
of town and I have people trampling though this place looking
to buy it EVEN THOUGH I still have 6 months left on the lease.
Had the owner even once thought to tell me he MIGHT sell this
place I would have looked elsewhere. Oh well, I do know God
will take care of me, my family and those I love because I
pray for them daily. Whatever His plans are for me, they are
think that is about it for the week. I have to get this cleaning
done, finish the laundry and check work emails before I relax
a bit, make some dinner and watch the other WSBK race. GO
JOHNNY RAY and GO BOLTS!!!
