Great Christmas Eve and Christmas!
Yes, it was a good one indeed! I got to make my first ever Christmas Eve dinner. Ok, it wasn't that difficult to make but it was really good to have both my family and my fiance's family over and let me host a Christmas Eve dinner. Our families are getting along pretty well and that is the best I can ask for. I feel far more blessed than I ever deserve to be.

On Christmas day I got to spend time with my fiance, her parents and kids and that was really great! I got gifts which I really appreciate but don't feel like I deserve. Trust me, God has blessed me beyond belief and I am really thankful for all the blessings in my life. Beyond belief, really.

Sunday was Church time which was really good and I am still on call and have work stuff to do. I had to get a new phone since my Droid died. I got an iPhone because well, I have never owned one. This is a good chance to compare the two O/Ss and see which one comes out on top I guess.

LOL! That is ABOOT it. I have laundry to do and other chores to get done but wanted to say thank you to my families for coming out and for treating me like a new family member. That's the greatest gift they could ever give me!

See you next week!

Worked all day Sunday after Church :(
Gotta do what you gotta do and what I had to do was work. So I worked. It pays the bills and will keep my family in decent shape. I love what I do which helps so there's no real complaints out of me. Besides, I work at one of the most loved and respected places in the world, so why not? :)

It was a great weekend with the family as we went to see Star Wars. No spoiler here but there's a part of the movie I disdained to no end. Grrr, JJ Abrams! I hate you! :) But we shall see what happens. I know there are at least two more movies coming up and this one broke all box office records so its really no surprise.

Everything else is good and I hope you had great weekend. Talk to you soon!

Shorter and shorter blogs...
As I move forward with the plan God has for me you will most likely see my blogs getting shorter and shorter. There are a couple of reasons for that. 1) I've been slammed with work a lot and 2) God's plan for me has me getting ready to a complete life change, which I need to make plans for others, not myself.

I won't have the time on Sundays to relax (and I haven't really been able to do that since I got to Florida). I'll have other people in my life that mean much more to me than myself so this is a sacrifice that I feel is well worth it!

Friday I got to take the kids KART racing which was a lot of fun and I am sure they liked it a lot. I hear they did at least. LOL. The rest of this weekend I was slammed Saturday for 17 hours getting work stuff done and then today I got to spend time with my love (yay) and then more work stuff to catch up on. I did get to listen to the Bucs game in the background (D'oh) but that was about it.

That's it for the week. Nothing spectacular, just work and spending time with my family. Hope you had a great weekend and talk to you later!

Nice week!
Other than my planned change I wanted to do yesterday, it was a good week! Oh, well aside from another Gator loss (boo!) it was really good. Got a lot of stuff done around the house, got the lawn mowed (do that myself), got my first month's rent paid on the house (though the Management Company, I am still not a fan of).

Everything else is going well. Trying to spend more time with my better half while trying to get work done and other things I need to get done. Good to spend time with the kids as well. Quirky, JUST LIKE ME! LOL.

Otherwise this is going to be the shortest blog to date. Lots of stuff to do and some 'splaining at work tomorrow. Not my fault as far as I know but if it is, I will make sure that I stand up and take it on the chin. Never afraid to admit when I made a mistake. Hiding your mistakes, trying to cover them up with dirt, never a good thing.

Cheers and have a good weekend!!
