Ick. Broken Churches need my help!
So the love of my life and I are trying to nail down the wedding plans and well, let's just say trying to get married in a broken Church is not a good thing. Not sure what happened to our Pastor but he POOFED a month or so ago. Not sure why, but the Elder's let him go. Today the person coordinating our wedding was laid off. I am not sure what is going on but if it's anything like what happened during my friend's funeral, I'll have to do the same thing and remind these people WHO God is and how they are walking the wide path that leads to destruction.

We made some new friend's at the Church, they left too. The guest Pastor is fantastic but he's from back home (SOCAL) so we won't get him regularly. I know who I think should marry us but not even sure we can get in touch with him. It it looks, walks and talks like a duck -- it's a DUCK! Something is wrong and I can't quite place my finger ron it. Too bad I did not get a degree in Biblical Theology otherwise I think I could do a much better job with this Church than what they are doing on their own.

Now I just want to focus on my fiance and everything she needs and not so much the Church. This is FOREVER and we want it to be right and I want to be the best husband God wants be to be, so that I need to pray over. But having a Church in this state makes me uncomfortable and eloping in Vegas is sounding good right now :) She will not go for that but honestly, this is better her, I and God :)

Anyway that is about it for the week. I could talk about work stuff but that would bore you to tear. I have to check if it's "Take your kid to work day" on Thursday, if so I will take Tyler with me. Madison should some as well but has studying to do. In the meantime -- GO BOLTS and have a great weekend!

Great weekend, happy birthday love!
Great weekend as it was my love's birthday! It was also my nephew's birthday as well so we drove down to See-boring and celebrated together. Fun day for sure and we all had a really good time. Today we went to Church and then attended the "membership" indoctrination stuff. We cannot get married at the Church unless you are a member. That said, we don't have a Pastor right now so we'll have to see how that goes. We've had a guest Pastor a coupe times we really like and we both hope he is on full time. We shall see.

Everything else is going fine. Me and my co-worker had a one on one meeting because he is doing things I do not like and he thinks I am doing things he doesn't like. Problem here is that he doesn't communicate and leaves me wondering where he is and I have to pick up the pieces when he isn't around. Talked to my boss about that as well. He doesn't question me because I am always there and I don't ask for time off :) I've saved that for our Honeymoon in the UK! Maybe we can meet up with the Top Gear guys and the Monty Python guys. That would be a hoot. We plan on seeing as much of the UK as we can!

Other than that, everything else is fine. We're just counting off the days until the wedding. I know my sister is really happy about it and so are we both. Kids like me and I treat them well (I would anyway, because in real life -- I am a big kid too). But I've been in their spot and I didn't have a good mentor until I joined the Marines and I did learn a lot.

Other than that, VOTE TRUMP! That is the only way we're going to get this country back on track again and start booting out all the corrupt politicians! Make America great again! Don't focus on whether you "like" him or not, liking someone shouldn't matter. It should be focused on "Can they get this country back on track?" -- and the only one who can is Trump!

Have a great weekend and talk to you soon!

Fun, but very hectic and busy week!
So much to do this week and most of it was completed and on time. Now I am very very very tired. I need some rest. Need to get a run in but still just worn out and tired. It was all very worth it though. Got to spend time with my love this weekend which was AWESOME! :)

This weekend I had to drive down to See-boring to let my nephew use my car for his prom. Good thing is though he got back late, my car was still in one piece and he got some kudos points from his girlfriend and friends so that is always a good thing!

So busy this week with work and wedding planning stuff and so many other things going on. I really just need a good long sleep. Like 24 hours worth! And that is about it. I know this is short this week but I have so many chores to finish up. Hope you had a great week and talk to you next weekend (maybe, got stuff to do!)

Busy busy week!
Spent some time with my love this weekend. Really enjoy that and I know she does too. No complaints from either of us! We are already talking about the wedding plans and what we plan to do. As I mentioned we are definitely going to the UK for a couple of weeks and we're going to try to get to Normandy Beach. There's a lot of history, a lot of lives lost in the name of freedom.

To those who don't already know, this is going to be a VERY small wedding. Like, less than 10 people in total. I really appreciate that a lot want to come and we'll do something for our friends but us, a marriage is a covenant between a man, a woman and God. And that's really what we want it to be. It's not about pomp and circumstance but know that you are always with us no matter what we do.

So, the wedding will be small (it's scheduled for June 18th) and right after that we'll be on a plane headed to the UK for some much needed time off. We are definitely looking forward to it and our new life together. We'll be having it at our Church so we need to get that all set up.

Everything else is busy! Work has me hammered a lot but I enjoy it. I got a very small bonus from my contracting company (they are not doing so well on the Stock Market side of things, so that makes sense). I know my boss likes me because I get my job done. I don't complain, I am always there when they need me and I do not complain about having to work nights and weekends. It's all part of the job.

Got my grocery shopping done, car washed, clothes cleaned and all the other things I need to get done to call it a weekend. Now I will relax a little bit before I read my daily devotional and Bible reading then hit the sack! Hope you had a great weekend and I love you all!.
